We collect personal information in two ways: information you give us directly, and information collected automatically when you visit the site.

Information you provide directly:

• Name, shipping address, and email address when you place an order.
• Email address when you subscribe to our newsletter.
• Any information you include when contacting us at support@oakstoke.com.

Information collected automatically:

• Browser type, device type, pages visited, and general location data via Google Analytics 4 (GA4), subject to your cookie consent.
• Cookies and similar tracking technologies used to support analytics and site functionality.

We do not collect or store payment card numbers. All payment processing is handled directly by Stripe, Inc. We only receive an order confirmation and the shipping details necessary to fulfill your order.

• To fulfill and ship your order, including transmitting your name and address to our shipping provider, Shippo.
• To send you order confirmations and customer support communications.
• To send marketing emails if you have subscribed, managed through Klaviyo. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in any email.
• To understand how visitors use our site and improve our content and products, using anonymized analytics data from GA4.
• To comply with applicable legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with the third-party service providers necessary to operate our business:

• Stripe, Inc. — payment processing. Stripe's privacy policy is available at stripe.com/privacy.
• Shippo — shipping label generation and order fulfillment. Your name and shipping address are shared to create a shipping label.
• Klaviyo, Inc. — email marketing. Your email address is shared if you subscribe to our list. Klaviyo's privacy policy is available at klaviyo.com/legal/privacy-policy.
• Google LLC — site analytics via GA4, subject to your cookie consent. Google's privacy policy is available at policies.google.com/privacy.

We may also disclose information when required by law or in response to a valid legal request.

We use cookies and similar technologies to support analytics and site functionality. When you first visit oakstoke.com, you will be presented with a cookie consent banner. Analytics cookies (GA4) are not set until you provide consent. You may withdraw consent at any time by clearing your browser cookies and declining consent on your next visit.

We also use localStorage to store your cart contents locally on your device. This data never leaves your device and is not transmitted to us unless you complete a purchase.

We retain order-related personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the order, honor our warranty obligations, and comply with applicable tax and legal requirements. Email list subscribers' data is retained until you unsubscribe. You may request deletion of your personal information at any time by contacting us at support@oakstoke.com.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to request a copy of it in a portable format. Residents of the European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom, and California have additional rights under GDPR and CCPA respectively, including the right to object to processing and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

Our site is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us at support@oakstoke.com and we will delete it promptly.

We reserve the right to modify product descriptions, pricing, and availability at any time without notice. All prices are listed in U.S. dollars. We make reasonable efforts to ensure product descriptions and images are accurate, but we do not warrant that descriptions are complete, current, or error-free.

By placing an order, you represent that you are authorized to use the payment method provided. All payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our discretion, including orders that appear fraudulent or that we are unable to fulfill. If an order is cancelled after payment, a full refund will be issued to the original payment method.

Applicable sales tax is collected at checkout based on your shipping destination, in accordance with our tax obligations.

We ship to all 50 U.S. states. Shipping costs and estimated delivery times are displayed at checkout. Delivery estimates are not guaranteed. We are not responsible for delays caused by carriers, weather, or events outside our control. Risk of loss passes to you upon delivery to the carrier.

Our return and warranty terms are governed by our Warranty & Returns Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms of Service by reference.

All content on this site, including text, images, logos, and product designs, is the property of OakStoke Steelworks LLC or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any site content without our express written permission.

This site and its content are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. OakStoke does not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, OakStoke Steelworks LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of this site or purchase of our products, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Vermont, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
