Smash Burger Press
Get your surface screaming hot.
Then press.
Most smash burger presses are cast iron, heavy, and a chore to clean. This one is food grade stainless steel, built light enough to work fast and heavy enough to press with confidence.
The ~6" perforated disc gives you full coverage on a standard patty. The holes let steam escape so you get maximum surface contact and a better crust. The hardwood handle keeps your hand off the heat. No plastic, no coatings, no shortcuts.
Drop a ball of ground beef on a hot cast iron or flat top. Press hard. Hold for a few seconds. Pull straight up. That contact between the meat and the hot surface is where the crust forms. The perforations stop steam from fighting the press. Flip once, add cheese, done.
Steam releases through the holes instead of building up under the press. Better crust. Cleaner smash every time.
The same class of steel used in commercial kitchens. No coatings, no rust, handles direct heat without flinching.
Keeps your hand off the heat. The same handle profile across the OakStoke line. Comfortable grip, no fuss.

Common Questions
Cast iron skillets, flat top griddles, and open fire grates. Anywhere you can get a surface screaming hot and have room to press down hard.
When you smash a burger, steam builds up between the meat and the press. The perforations let that steam escape instead of pushing back against you, so you get better surface contact and a harder crust on the patty.
Yes. Every OakStoke product is designed, cut, and finished in the USA from food grade stainless steel. We control the materials and the quality from start to finish.
